Wellspring

Come find peace and rest before the season of Advent. Our one day retreat, Wellspring, is a little oasis amidst the busyness of life where you can be nurtured in silence, invited to engage with healing prayer, Scripture and mindfulness.

Wellspring will take place on Saturday, 24th November 2018, in St Patrick’s Church, Dalkey. St Patrick’s Church is not far from the beautiful Bullock Harbour. There will be time to walk outside; to participate in guided reflections; to avail of one-to-one discussion with a spiritual director; or just take time to relax and read.

During the day you are invited to engage with God in a very personal way, allowing Him to love you in the way you need the most at this time in your life. 

The facilitators for the day are Dr Iva Beranek and Carol Casey. Suggested donation to CMH:I is €25. Please bring your own sandwich for lunch and we will provide tea and coffee. The retreat starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.00pm.

Meeting Christ in Advent: Praying the Advent antiphons

You are all invited to a retreat for clergy and lay people organised by the Commission on Ministry.
It will be led by 
Dr. Bridget Nichols from Thursday 15th to Saturday 17th November, 2018.
Retreat commences 5pm Thursday and ends 2pm Saturday 17th.

The venue is Dromantine Retreat and Conference Centre, Newry, Co. Down.

Wellspring

Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer – Annual Retreats

Annual Thanksgiving Service & Gift Day in St Catherine’s Church, Tullamore

This year we are delighted to announce that we will be holding our Annual Thanksgiving Service & Gift Day in St Catherine’s Church, Tullamore on Sunday 27th May at 3.00pm.

The Rev Isaac Delamere, Rector of Tullamore Union of Parishes, will celebrate and the Rev Canon Dr Daniel Nuzum, Chair of CMH:I and Chaplain at Cork University Hospital, will preach. During the service there will be an opportunity for prayer with the laying on of hands and anointing with oil.

Everyone is invited to enjoy some light refreshments after the service.
We hope you will be able to join us and celebrate Christ’s gift of healing with us.

Compassion: seeing with the heart

The Quiet Day, Compassion: seeing with the heart, will take place in the Methodist Church Hall, Ballineen, Co. Cork, on Saturday 24th March 2018 from 10.30am to 4pm.

The day is organised by Rev Cliff Jeffers and Dunmanway Healer Prayer Group.
Led by CMH:I’s Ministry Facilitator, Dr Iva Beranek, this will be a day of rest, reflection and encouragement. We will explore the value of living with compassion, both towards ourselves and towards others.

Soup, tea and coffee will be provided but please bring your own sandwiches/lunch.
There will be no charge, but there will be an opportunity to make a donation towards costs.

Annual Thanksgiving Service & Gift Day

Annual Thanksgiving Service for the Church’s Ministry of Healing: Ireland will be held in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, on Saturday 17th June at 3 pm, followed by refreshments in the Chapter Room at 4pm.

This is a service of Holy Communion. Our celebrant this year is Rev Dr Christine O’Dowd-Smyth, and our preacher is the Chair of CMH:I, Rev Canon Dr Daniel Nuzum. There will be an opportunity to receive prayer for healing during the service, for anyone who would like to do so. We look forward to meeting old friends as well as people who have not been with us before. All are warmly welcome.

This year CMH:I is celebrating our 85th year in Ireland.
We hope you will be able to join us and celebrate Christ’s gift of healing with us.
